Oh, help

So. I must knit this. For myself. Now (almost). Gorgeous, no?

So. Here is the conundrum: do I use this fabulously expensive yarn in the Baltic (think seaside, star-filled sky),
the Tart, which almost literally made me drool,
or the Jade, my favorite stone and color, and is just too lovely for words?
I cannot make this decision on my own; it's just too much for me. Help me, dear one, if you can!

I like the Tart. I think it would look great w/ your hair color :)

I vote for the baltic.. beautiful (and I have always been a fan of that shade of blue on dark haired beauties as yourself). BUt the Tart would be a close second. While I love the Jade it is fun to mix your color scheme up a bit.

Blue or Tart. Both would look beautiful on you. I think you have another green sweater, so this would add an alternative color option in your wardrobe!

I really want this cardi too - fiendishly expensive yarn though (BTW I think all colours are fab). Two questions though for this thick Brit - 1) Coul it be done on straight needles do you think? and 2) What is an alternative wool - DK, Aran? Debbie Bliss Cashmerino? I will have to extend my mortgage to but the wool AND pay the shipping!

Don't think straight needles would work - it's knit in one piece and you'd never fit it all on one needle. Knitting on circulars is pretty easy once you give it a shot, though. The yarn is a merino wool, but the main thing is to check the gauge. You could probably use any yarn that gives you the same gauge, but merino is yummy.

I vote for the jade. I'm also a huge fan of green. That is a lovely sweater, can't wait to see it finished.

I was thinking the exact same thing as Danielle (already having green so doing one of the other 2). I'm very indecisive, but I think my first choice would be the blue, because it seems to be different than what I usually see you in (but maybe I'm not very observant?). However, the reddish one would be lovely, too. :)
