A new 'do

So, I'm sitting in my chair, playing with a snuffly baby. Anna comes and asks me a question. As she turns go, I spot something. "Anna, what happened to your hair??" Her: panic-y look, "Nothing." "Anna, did you cut your hair?!" "I don't know." Me: looking over the glasses, "Did. You. Cut. Your. Hair?" "Yesssss...?"

(The despair is palpapable, no?)

It's bad enough to need correcting, so following a traumatic explanation of how she will now have short hair, followed by a tearful session with the scissors, we have a new hair do that everyone's happy with. Now, to put a padlock on the scissors...

(So cute - I've been grinning at her all the time!)

It's really cute Isn't the cut your hair thing something about all of us share in our childhood? :)

very cute and swingy! I think it is a natural stage of childhood to cut ones hair. I cut my bangs when I was in 1st grade.. lovely! Malachy just a few months ago decided to trim a bit of Molly's hair to make her more beautiful. sigh.. scissors are now hidden in my nome. :)

It's super cute! It really does great things for her face. Thank God it was fixable:) Sarah once cut a whack at her hair in the back about an inch from her scalp. Very unfixable, just had to grow out. Yuck .
